John Pearson

John Pearson is best known for the design and execution of many of the finest pieces of metalwork of the British Arts & Crafts Movement. Pearson was the first instructor in metalwork at C. R. Ashbee's Guild of Handicrafts, and later instructed at the Newlyn Class in Cornwall. John Pearson is less well known for his talents as a very fine ceramic artist. Century of Design hold some fine examples of his work in both copper and ceramics.
